harriett ethel was my great nan a lady with a loving heart and would do anything for any one i really do miss her its such a shame she is not here today i always wanted her to see me grow up and see my children i was her eldest great grandchild its a sad world and u never really think about these things but it sudenly hit me every time i go past her house i think of all the good times we used to have all off us grandchildren used to go and visit her and when we were little we used to sit in the garden with the chips she got us from the chippie sat us on the lawn wiv the red sauce and we were happy as larry. my nan meant alot to everyone as she got older she became frail i used to go and help her with the house work and do her garden for her her legs became bad and had to have her one leg ampitated which meant she couldnt get around like to used to luckily enough her daughter lived next door to her and her other daughter lived in the next street so she got all the help she needed i only wish i knew what i know now as i am a carer now and i wished i could of helped her more i always remember christams with her when she used to sit at the table and make her own faggots and at new year she used to babysit us all whilst our parents went out see nan i do remember these things also she used to sit on the wall outside her house when the marathon was on the oldbury road and shout dig em n me lovers bless her theres alot more i can say about her but i would be here forever all i know is that when she was alive she was the best person ever and i miss her loads along side my uncle john who died 6 weeks after her it was a shock to every one losing 2 members of your family in 6 weeks life was tough since losing my nan her son has now passed away as well leaving just 2 daughters i only wish my nan was here today a lady with a loving heart who everyone misses love you loads nan thinking of you always youll always have a place in my heart and i hope well meet again soon diggin the angels on tellin em to dig em in as they are runnin through the clouds sweet dreams love lisa
